  1. I'm curious what you do with the pasuk from Zechariah if you say that no prophet added any halachos
And they guarded their hearts from listening to the Torah and things which Hashem of Armies sent by ruach hakodesh to the neviim rishonim (first prophets)...

  2. On a different topic:The stuff at Thetorah.com is intriguing and makes compelling arguments

This paper makes the argument that Bilam's god as described is the Kenaani El

  3. 1. Not sure what you're asking. They didn't listen to the תוכחה of the Nevi'im.

    2. So?

    1. 1.Maybe I could say that if it just said devarim but the then extranneous word "torah" must come to teach me something else.
2.I'll explain why the DH is (nebach) compelling if you promise to not censor my comment.

    2. The reason I'm concerned abotu #2 is my comments were censored by RHM before and this is going to take a lot of time to develop.

    5. Continuing on 5.
The Yidden were probably called by the surrounding tribes "a bunch of abiri" and the jews thus adopted this name for themselves a bit like Yankee and Eskimo.

    6. Tehillim only makes a light difference?? How can you say that? See Rabbi Zeidel Epsteins "Meimrei Shlomo"

    7. One needs to be realistic about our koach ha'tefillah. Great tzaddikim have great kochos. Most of us do not.

    8. May we also say that 11 Chasmonaim didn't beat the ENTIRE Seleucid army (while they were outnumbered they had way more than 11 people.)
