Updated levaya and shiva information:
The levaya for my father in law z"l took place this morning in Detroit.
The levaya in Eretz Yisroel will take place tomorrow (Wednesday) evening at approximately 6:00 or 7:00 pm (depending on how long it takes to get from the airport) at the Eretz HaChaim cemetery in Beit Shemesh. https://www.eretzhachaim.org/directions.asp
Shiva for everyone will be in Moshav Mattiyahu, at the Shapiro family, through Shacharis Thursday morning.Subsequently, Debbie, will continue sitting Shiva there.
The family from America will be in Israel the night of the levaya and will be returning to Detroit the next day
Shiva will continue in Detroit at the Schreiber home in Southfield, 22560 Kenwyck Dr, beginning Friday morning and continuing until either Tuesday or Wednesday (see below).
My wife and her sister Elli will return Sunday afternoon to NY for the remainder of Shiva. Shani will be sitting at our house in Monsey (3 Zabriskie Terrace), and Elli at her house in Brooklyn (14 7th Ave).
Depending on whether the levaya is over before shekiyah (unlikely) or after shekiyah (likely), Shiva will be either through Tuesday or Wednesday morning.
Thank you to everyone for your tefillos that kept him alive till now. The petirah was in his sleep, and he was bright, upbeat and totally with it until we saw him the evening before.
