    Loved hearing the memories of NIRC!

    when I was in the mechina there in the '80s we still had the minhag of hanging signs from the ceiling in the beis medrash based on phrases from the gemara, but it was only done for rebbeim, not about bochurim, and the yeshiva did not do it for anyone.
