Rabbi Moshe Tzuriel was my mashgiach at Sha'alvim for three years. I learned
a lot from him and for many years stayed in touch even long after I "graduated." He has some idiosyncratic views, but his seforim are
tremendous. I just stumbled on the website where you can download many (all of which are also at
hebrewbooks.org) for free. The
Otzaros Hamussar alone is worth its weight in gold (and it is heavy)!

Do you know how I can obtain his sefarim בית יחזקאל - ב"ח and מגדל עוז ? They're not available on hebrewbooks and I haven't seen them sold in any bookstores in the US either (at least nowhere near Lakewood)
ReplyDeleteI don't know where you can get Migdal Oz. I don't have it either. Tuvia's sells some of Rav Tzuriel's seforim. I have both volumes of BY, and I can tell you that rubba d'rubba of both chalakim make up the two volumes of Otzaros HaMussar.

DeleteRav Tzuriel has also graciously allowed his seforim on hebrewbooks.org to be printed on-demand. You can get your own softcover or hardcover versions through the links there to lulu or amazon. However check with seforim stores or the mechaber first as some are still in print. Also, the seforim Migdal Oz and Bais Yechezkel are available on Otzar HaChochmah.
