Respository of many MP3 files, mostly of talks I have given at OS

Reuven Meir Caplan has graciously compiled a repository of many of the MP3 audios of the shiurim that I have given at Ohr Somayach in Monsey. He has also included many of the shiurim I have given elsewhere that are available on the web.

    When you deal with your students you have to spend alot of time and effort on them

    The beis hamikdash was destroyed because the children did Bittul from the Torah (Medrash Eicha~I think)
    The Rebbeim did Bittul they took the weaker kids put them with regular kids and did a Bittul B'rov.and hence the Beis Hamikdash was destroyed

    Two Tishabav questions
    1) Are you allowed to say tehillim before Chatzos it is not learning so there is no joy and I know an Oinain can?
    Why last night where People wearing Bigdie SHabbos at Eicha I was told it is a Minhag what is the Mekor?

    The links don't work from Firefox, you have to use IE. I get the same problem with Chabad's "www.lahak.org" site - the webmaster comes from a PC background, and uses backslashes "\" to indicate subdirectories. That's the deliberately non-compatible form used by PC-DOS and its successors such as Windows.

    Firefox expects the standard derived from UNIX, that forward-slashes "/" are used to indicate subdirectories.

    He needs to change the backslashes to forward-slashes in the Inventory file. Should be a global search & replace, no?

      I tried a link in qupzilla, a web browser I use because it is fast, and it played in the browser. I then tried a link in Opera, where it didn't work. You have to right-click on the link, choose save or download, and then listen to the file on your computer.

      If you can use linux (or cygwin on windows) you can use the command "wget" to grab the whole directory. Google wget to learn how to use it.
