The new cycle of Daf Yomi Yerushalmi
begins
on the 24th of Nissan 5774
corresponding to the 24th day of April 2014
the ninth day of the Omer
If there is interest, in conjunction with Talmud Yerushalmi Institute,
I will, B'Ezras Hashem, give an online interactive video/audio shiur on the Daf.
Shiurim can be archived for those who cannot make it at the time the shiur would be held.
Of course, the audio shiurim on the entire Yerushalmi are available at Yerushalmi Online.

Kabbalah is way over my head.
ReplyDeleteThe usage of the word kabbalah here just means an acceptance to learn something new, in this case, a page of Jerusalem Talmud a day.
ReplyDeleteA page of Yerushalmi is less material than Daf Yomi. And once you get past Berakhos or so (maybe again in Mo'ed -- Zera'im has a slightly distinct feel), you get used to the feel of the Yerushalmi, and the whole thing is a significantly easier commitment than Daf Yomi.
