BDE. A true nistar who would have ranked amongst the greatest Gedolim of the day, but his extraordinary anavah came before his breathtaking chochmoh. I would not be surprised if he were one of the Lamed Vav. A great inspiration to those of us who were zocheh to grow up in West Hempstead.
