A certain talk show pundant (I know it's pundit, but I'm just quoting the guy) argued against universal health care by saying, dismissively, that we should then be offering universal housing, too. Housing is crucial, too.
Putting aside his apparent coldheartedness, I'd love to hear your thoughts about his argument.
The man's an idiot. He could have shown up without a passport at the Canadian border and claimed to have been a refugee. Instant total health care coverage, public housing and a lawyer to keep the bogus claim running through the courts for years.
