If the women's education system is preparing them better than their male counterparts ... what sort of fellow (i.e. product of what system) would you encourage your top talmidos to look for when dating?
In the Yated piece a few years ago remembering Rabbi Joseph Elias z"l, it first notes that "before we studied with Rabbi Elias, we wanted to marry baalabatim. After Rabbi Elias, we all wanted to marry full-time bnai Torah!" Elsewhere in the piece, it notes that today's female students are all worried about mundane things like parnasa and shidduchim; back then they were asking deep questions about philosophy and emunah.
There may be a correlation between those two trends ...
Essentially, then, the men's and women's educational systems aren't necessarily producing compatible products. (Then again, they weren't developed in a coordinated fashion.) Nu. קשין לזווגן כקריעת ים סוף !

Someone slightly out of the box, who clearly has at least dabbled in areas beyond Gemara b'iyun and basic Mussar.
